Welcome to PrayBell. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

3. Description of Service

PrayBell provides the following services:

  • Prayer reminder notifications
  • Personal prayer request management
  • Family and group prayer sharing
  • Prayer journal recording

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display through the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and agree not to post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Upload malicious code or viruses
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Impersonate any person or entity

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.

7. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

PrayBell offers premium features through auto-renewable subscription plans. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following terms.

7.1 Subscription Plans

PrayBell offers the following subscription plans, each available on a monthly or annual basis:

  • Individual Plan — Premium features for a single user
  • Family Plan — Premium features for family group members
  • Group Plan — Premium features for small group members
  • Team Plan — Premium features for larger team members

Premium features include unlimited prayer requests, advanced prayer statistics, AI-powered prayer reminders, and additional group management capabilities.

7.2 Pricing and Payment

  • Subscription prices are displayed in the app at the time of purchase and may vary by region and currency.
  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account (for iOS) or Google Play account (for Android) upon confirmation of purchase.
  • Prices are subject to change. We will notify you of any price changes in advance, and the new price will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

7.3 Auto-Renewal

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price you originally purchased, unless you have changed your subscription plan or the price has been adjusted with prior notice.
  • You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal at any time through your device settings:
    • iOS: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions
    • Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions

7.4 Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will continue to have access to premium features until then.
  • Deleting the app does not automatically cancel your subscription. You must cancel through your device's subscription management settings as described above.
  • No partial refunds will be provided for the unused portion of a subscription period upon cancellation.

7.5 Refunds

  • For purchases made through the Apple App Store, refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy. You may request a refund through https://reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • For purchases made through the Google Play Store, refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy.
  • PrayBell does not directly process payments or refunds; all transactions are handled by the respective app store platform.

7.6 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. If the price of a subscription increases, we will notify you in advance. The price change will take effect at the start of your next billing period following the notice. If you do not agree with the price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.

Your use of in-app purchases and subscriptions is also subject to the terms and conditions of the platform through which you made the purchase:

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the app settings or by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Conduct that we believe is harmful to other users or us
  • Request by law enforcement or government agencies

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE SERVICE.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms in the app and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
